Validating cluster resource analysis services

I have 2 nodes in a SQL Server 2008 R2 Cluster that I inherited.Looking at the 'Failover Cluster Manager', under 'Services and applications', I see 13 SQL Server instances.This template assesses the status and overall performance of a Microsoft Windows 2008 Failover Cluster by retrieving information from performance counters and the Windows System Event Log.For more information, refer to the following Microsoft article: Credentials: Windows Administrator on the target server.

This Chapter excerpt will delve into cluster in a box and cluster across boxes, how to create cluster nodes and physical to virtual clustering.Examining the Windows system log files should provide information pertaining to the issue.Detailed information about these events can be found here: Here we are again, delving further into Windows Failover Clusters.

This series has been following the construction of a Windows cluster and in this installment we’re going to layer SQL Server onto the Failover Cluster that we built in Part 3.For all the 'Failover' folders in Event Viewer, none of the 'Diagnostic' logs have any events. For some reason, the time is off in that log, so it's hard for me to pinpoint when the errors below occurred: [RES] Physical Disk: Resource SQL Network Name (CSDBNAME) is not in online or pending state.
